Avon Lake

I’m sitting here writing this on Nov 1st, it’s 80 degrees outside. Quite a contrast to the beach visit I made in July. It was 73 degrees and overcast when I went to Veteran Memorial Park in Avon Lake, near Cleveland. I didn’t need the sunscreen. I needed my sweatshirt.
The sun broke through long enough to sit on the beach and watch the waves. It was too choppy and cold for me to go swimming, but that didn’t stop the kids at the beach. Excited and pink when they entered the water, blue and shivering when they left.
